Rotlex - "Looking Good" in Omer

Rotlex has been a leader in the field of quality assurance systems since 1986.

Using proprietary technologies such as “Moire Deflectometery” and ”Shearing Interferometry”, the company develops industrial inspection instruments for the ophthalmic industry, including the manufacture of spectacles and contact lenses.

In 2002, Rotlex Optics invested an initial NIS 4 million to build its plant in the Omer Industrial Park. The plant was established to manufacture the “Multi Mapper” device, the first of its kind in the world, designed to measure the entire surface of ophthalmic lenses in 4.5 seconds.

Employing a highly-qualified personnel of some 30 engineers, physicists and technicians, the company has registered close to 30 patents and has a customer base that includes Johnson and Johnson, Novartis, Polaroid, Bausch and Lomb, Elcon, and Hoya Japan.
